How does it work?
Several compounds found in Bitter Orange Peel are structurally similar to ephedrine. However, Bitter Orange Peel is a "calmer" alternative to ephedrine, and is thought to have similar effects in terms of providing an energy boost, suppressing appetite and increasing your metabolic rate.

Experts believe that Bitter Orange Peel increases fat metabolism without the cardiovascular side effects sometimes experienced with ephedrine (such as dry mouth, high blood pressure and nervousness). Although Bitter Orange Peel constricts blood vessels and makes your heart beat faster, in people with normal blood pressure at least, it has been shown to be safe [2].

Bitter Orange Peel works in a similar way to ephedrine, stimulating the release of catecholamines. One study cited in the August 2000 edition of the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition shows that an herbal blend containing Bitter Orange Peel extract raises the metabolic rate.

One of the unique features of Bitter Orange Peel is the effect it has on your appetite. The extract of Bitter Orange Peel contains tyramine and octopamine. Studies show that octopamine helps you feel full on fewer calories. This makes Bitter Orange Peel very popular with dieters who struggle to control their food cravings.

Bitter Orange Peel and caffeine have also been shown to accelerate fat loss when combined with a diet and exercise programme [1]. Twenty-three subjects were assigned to one of three groups. Group one received a herbal blend containing Bitter Orange Peel and caffeine each day for six weeks [3]. The other two groups received either a placebo or nothing at all. Subjects were instructed to eat 1,800 calories daily during the study. They also took part in a circuit-training program three times a week. Body fat decreased, on average, by seven pounds in subjects taking the herbal combination. The control group (who followed the same diet and exercise program) lost less fat - just four pounds.
How do I use it?
Weight loss is enhanced with approximately 1000 milligrams of Bitter Orange Peel per day, split into 3-4 divided doses. A single dose of Bitter Orange Peel (150-500 milligrams), when combined with other stimulants such as caffeine, will also increase energy levels and enhance physical performance.

Bitter Orange Peel will accelerate fat loss when combined with a good diet and regular exercise by increasing your metabolic rate. A single dose, when combined with other stimulants, will also increase energy levels. Most users also report a decrease in appetite.
